Shareholder

A shareholder is a company owner. Provided that there is more than one shareholder, a shareholder becomes a co-owner. The shareholder’s participation rate in the company is defined by the shareholder’s share in the company. A founding member of the company is always a shareholder. Any natural or legal person may become a shareholder also after the company is founded, provided that they obtain shares in the company (e.g. by means of a transfer, by way of inheritance, or by undertaking a commitment for a new contribution to meet the increase of the registered capital).
