Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs) are a new form of organisation based on a decentralised ledger (decentralised system of records). The decision-making process of the organisation is created and maintained through smart contracts by members (nodes) of this DAO. The governance of a DAO is also decided among its members.
