Under Slovak legislation, a company is in crisis if it is in bankruptcy or threatened by a bankruptcy. A company is threated by a bankruptcy, if the proportion of its own capital (meaning its own sources to finance all the assets, line 25 in a financial statement) and its liabilities (line 34 in a financial statement) is less than 8 to 100.
