‘NFT’ stands for a non-fungible token. An NFT is a non-interchangeable fingerprint of a unit of data stored on a blockchain network. These data units may be associated with digital files such as photos, videos, and audio (data is “imprinted” on the network and can no longer be changed). NFTs do not restrict the sharing or copying of the underlying digital files (transfer the copyright of the digital files).
